This first festival over the Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May will bring blues musicians of all statures to the beautiful and culturally rich Pennine town of Hebden Bridge.
Along with well-known international artists in the larger venues like the Hebden Bridge Picture House and the legendary Trades Club, there will be many national and local musicians playing in a number of smaller pub venues from Friday night through to Monday lunchtime.
In so far as it is at all possible, the bands will start at staggered times in these "Roadhouse" venues to make it easier for music lovers to see the maximum number of performances possible.
As we start the preparations for the festival, from the sound of the first chord on the night of Friday 27th May to the closing events on Monday 30th May 2011, we will keep you up to date with developments on this site, although you can also keep track of us on Facebook.
